Synopsis

25 years after an ecological collapse rendered the Earth uninhabitable, a mother, father and son find themselves locked in their luxurious bunker, where they try their best to maintain a sense of hope and normalcy, clinging to everyday rituals, until the arrival of a strange girl turns their happy routine upside down. The boy, a naive twenty-something who has never seen the outside world, is captivated by the newcomer, and suddenly the thin bonds of blind optimism that have held this wealthy clan together begin to crumble. As tensions mount, their seemingly idyllic existence begins to crumble, and long-suppressed feelings of regret and resentment threaten to destroy the family’s fragile balance. But their reckoning with difficult truths also points to another direction, one based on acceptance, love and the ability to change.
